Terms of Service

Last updated: July 23, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Norveth — the website, the dashboard, and the REST API (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy.

1. What the Service does

Norveth performs automated analysis of public websites — security headers and TLS configuration, Core Web Vitals and SEO fundamentals, and UI/UX and accessibility checks against a real Chromium render — and combines the results into a report with AI-generated explanations and recommendations.

2. Acceptable use

You may only submit URLs you own or are otherwise authorized to have scanned. Norveth's crawler makes real requests against the target — including navigating pages and submitting test data into forms during the UI/UX pass — so scanning a site without permission may violate its terms of use or applicable law, and is your responsibility, not Norveth's. You must not use the Service to:

  • Scan infrastructure you don't own or have explicit permission to assess.
  • Attempt to breach or circumvent the Service's own security mechanisms, rate limits, or quotas.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

3. Plans, quotas, and API usage

Free, Plus, and Pro plans are self-serve, with the monthly scan and AI-chat limits shown on the pricing page. Enterprise terms, including any uptime commitment, are set out in a signed order form — the Service otherwise carries no uptime SLA. API access is subject to rate limiting; we may throttle or suspend a key if its usage threatens platform stability for other users.

4. No warranty on findings

Norveth's deterministic checks and AI-generated explanations are provided "as is" to help you find and prioritize real issues on a website. They are not a certification of security, accessibility, or legal compliance (e.g. WCAG conformance, PCI-DSS), and they don't replace a professional audit where one is required.

5. Account responsibility

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys, and for activity that happens under your account.

6. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. Material changes will be noted on this page and, where practical, via email.
