What gets checked

Security

Is HTTPS set up and forced? Is the certificate about to expire? Are basic security headers sent? Any login form on plain HTTP?

Speed

Heavy images, images without sizes that make the page jump while loading, too many scripts.

Mobile

Does the page work on a phone: text size, buttons, layout, app-like features.

Broken pages

Dead links and pages that pretend to exist but show nothing.

Page titles and descriptions, structured data, anything telling Google not to list you.

How the check is done

Norveth started as a website audit product (the case study). The free check uses a lighter, non-intrusive checker built for a first look: homepage only, one request per page, reading the headers your server actually sends, plus a Lighthouse mobile test in a real Chromium browser, the same engine as Google Chrome. Then an engineer reads the result and writes the summary you get, so you don't receive a 40-page robot report.
